Installation

The ImageIron msi-file installation runs self-explanatory.

With the first start ImageIron asks for the license data. If you donīt already have a Full-License of ImageIron, you can order a free Trial-License here, which is valid for 30 days.

The entered license data is validated on the NaturalGrafiX server, which assumes a successful internet connection (if a firewall is installed on the system, you must allow ImageIron to access the internet). If the server accepts the data, it sends a Ticket which is stored on your computer. ImageIron is only executable with this Ticket, which contains the encrypted hardware identification (MAC address) apart from the license information. If ImageIron shall be installed on another computer, thus a Ticket must be requested once again.

The installation of ImageIron is finished with that. If a broadband internet connection is available, it is advisable to check the checkbox "Look for program update each start" (default) in the menu entry Edit >> Options to ensure that the software is always up-to-date.
If only a dial-in internet connection is available, the function should be disabled. Using the menu entry Help >> Look for new version you can instead check anytime whether you have the newest version.
